The AnchorEd City Podcast

The AnchorED City podcast's focus is connecting its listenership with Anchorage's soul through her history, stories, and people. This season, we are exploring places and having conversations with people in Anchorage where things are—or are becoming—more like they should be for all people. What do we mean?

The AnchorED City podcast is produced by the Anchorage Urban Training Collaborative whose mission is to train the heads, hearts, and hands of Anchorage leaders to love their city and seek its peace. When we say peace, we are referring to an ancient word: Shalom — "everything the way it's supposed to be for all people."

Season Two: September - November 2021

The Anchorage Urban Training Collaborative and The AnchorED City podcast nurture an environment where everyone is welcome and does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, gender, national origin, age, religion, creed, disability, veteran's status, sexual orientation, gender identity or gender expression.

About the Project

We are inviting YOU to imagine with us what would make our city the way it is supposed to be for all people. Find our chalkboard installations at eight Kaladi Brothers Cafe locations in Anchorage and share with us—and the rest of our community—what you IMAGINE.

At the end of the season, we will gather all responses and present them to Anchorage decision makers for consideration in policy making, community development, and other governance determinations.
