THE AMPERSAND SERIES

Overview
21.png

The Ampersand Series applies a broad definition of spirituality, allowing individuals to apply principles of teaching and practices to their own worldview.

We nurture an environment where all
traditions and journeys are welcome.

The Ampersand Series was developed after a season of listening to the needs of several social service organizations in Anchorage impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. We heard the need for staff to have space to process the challenges they faced and rediscover hope for the future.

We responded by creating a series of workshops designed to support social service providers in their pursuit of health, sustainability, and hope in their vocation and lives—especially in crisis, pervasive challenge, or burnout.

LOST AND FOUND
IN THE MIDST OF CRISIS

#1

BRIDGING EXPERIENCES OF LOSS AND DISCOVERY BY GIVING VOICE TO PAIN AND
LEARNING TO SEE GOOD IN HARD PLACES

There is a mysterious—yet often elusive—connection between our expressions of lament and gratitude.

The Lost and Found Series delves into this connection and its impact on how we carry on in uncertain times.

Each experience incorporates guided individual reflection activities and group interaction as a way of discovering and reframing perspectives that energize us with renewed hope for the future in every sphere of our life.
